A Fresh 48 session happens in the first days after your baby arrives, right there in the hospital room or in the comfort of home. No studio to pack up for, no rushing anywhere. Just you, your baby, and the people meeting them for the first time.

I keep things calm and baby-led. We take breaks for feeding and snuggles whenever they're needed, and parents and siblings are always welcome in the frame.

Prefer to wait a little? Newborn sessions follow the same simple package, so the $225 covers whichever fits your family best.

What is a Fresh 48 session?
A Fresh 48 is a short, relaxed session in the first couple of days after birth, usually in the hospital or birthing center. It captures those very first moments: tiny fingers, first snuggles, and big siblings meeting the baby.
Do you come to the hospital?
Yes, in the hospital or at home, whichever feels right for your family. Hospital visitor policies vary, so it's worth checking yours ahead of time.
When should I reach out?
Before your due date is ideal, so I can plan around it. Text me anytime and we'll figure out the timing together.
Can parents and siblings be in the photos?
Yes. Immediate family is included, and parents and siblings are always welcome.
How long until we get our photos?
Your edited gallery is delivered within 2 weeks, and you'll have 30 days to download everything.

Booking Retainer

A $75 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your photography session. This amount is applied toward the total session cost.

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before your scheduled session. All session fees must be paid in full before photography services begin.

Editing & Gallery Delivery

Editing and gallery preparation begin following the completed session, provided payment has been received in full.

Professionally edited galleries will be delivered within 14 days following the session.

Online galleries remain available for download for 30 days after delivery.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Booking retainers are non-refundable. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and the terms outlined in the photography agreement.

Sessions may be postponed or canceled if payment is not received by the required deadline, in accordance with the photography agreement.

If weather becomes an issue, we will reschedule at no additional cost.

Life happens, and I always try to be understanding. The sooner you reach out, the more I can do to help.

Wedding Photography

Wedding bookings follow a separate payment schedule. A 25% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the wedding date, with the remaining balance due 30 days before the event.

RAW & Unedited Images

RAW and unedited images are not included with any photography service and will not be provided. All galleries are carefully reviewed, and the best usable images are professionally edited and delivered in high-resolution format.

Duplicate images, test shots, missed focus, closed eyes, and other images that do not meet my professional standards are removed during the culling process. This ensures every image you receive represents the quality and style of Moments by Renae.

Photography Agreement

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, all photography sessions require a signed photography agreement and the applicable non-refundable booking retainer.

Your agreement will outline your session details, payment terms, cancellation and rescheduling policies, image delivery, and other important information.

Your session is officially reserved once the signed agreement and required retainer have been received.
